Buddy
Now look at that smile!
Buddy lived in a City park for several years. He was fed by neighbors and was a popular fixture at the park. Then he was hit by a car. He was caught and brought to the shelter. He needed surgery to save his leg. Friends Foundation was excited to have him so Buddy was taken to a vet for his surgery. He had problems with the pin in his leg and had to have a second surgery to remove it.
Buddy was fostered for quite a while as he built up his muscle strength. He also had a hard time adjusting to sleeping in a dog house and on a bed as he had only ever lived outside. After several months, he finally decided he liked warm blankets over cold concrete!
Buddy has been adopted. He has a best friend named Sadie and he has a job as the night guard dog, so he's a happy boy.
