The mission of Friends Foundation is to foster compassion and humane treatment of rescued animals in our communities.

What Friends Foundation Does

Friends of the Kern County Animal Shelters Foundations is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Friends Foundation works to secure funds through hosting events and fundraisers to assist with the needs of homeless companion animals in Kern County. Through our efforts, we help provide funding for specific programs or necessities for our county shelter system, providing funding for collaborative assistance.

All of our efforts work towards the ultimate goal of reducing the number of homeless pets in Kern County.
